an ounce of Prevention

This photo from the February print edition of Prevention Magazine  is everything to me.  It represents a milestone in my pole journey.  The six page feature, entitled, “Moving Toward Joy,” documents a tumultuous period in my life and how pole dance and aerial art gave me my mojo back !  My message to everyone is find your Passion and follow it – whether its dancing, painting, cooking,  or whatever – find it and throw yourself into it.  It may be your life saver because ‘an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!’  Pole dance was my anchor when I was drowning, and look at me now ! (And yes – you will have to pick up the magazine because it is not online !)
